Reputed uses for the leaves include usage as primary ingredient in the making of absinthe, bitters, insect repellant, and disinfectant tonics, just to mention a few. In the garden it is a quick growing, small shrub that is useful as a weed supressor and windbreak to shelter smaller more tender plants. Easily grown in all soil types.
