One of the better varieties we have grown, with upright stems and soft pink flowers. A lasting vigourous plant with attractive evergreen grey felted foliage. Imported by Plant Hunters, few only.
This is a rivale cultivar perfect for foreground plantings in the cottage garden or perennial border. Apricot and peach tones, a great little plant we found in Wales in the mid 90's.
Vigourous old fashioned mop top type, pure white flowers, useful for specimen or border plantings. Strong stemmed upright variety, useful for floral work.
White form of Echinacea purpurea with attractive seedheads after flowering. Prolific and beautiful.
Ornamental bronze tinged foliage plant for pond margins and clay soils; associates well with gunnera, filipendula, and Iris. Best in part shade, native to China and Japan.
Native to the Black Sea and southern Georgia, a fine evergreen iris rarely seen in Australia. Grow in a cottage garden or perennial border setting, where it will produce blue flowers in mid winter. Visually very similar to Iris unguicularis flowering a few weeks later here in winter, however broader bladed & overall better foliage.
Profuse flowering echinops producing blue globes on long stems perfect for cut flowers or drying. In high demand for the perennial border or cottage garden, if sold out please ask, we probably have more in production!
Perennial verbena, more leafy and bushy than Verbena bonariensis, a good summer border plant with rich colour. Cut back foliage to avoid harbouring mildew in autumn.
Seedlings from our best slate flowered plants, bred from Ashwood and Phedar plants. The majority of these will come true to parent.
Frost tolerant winter dormant variety with sky blue flowers in mid summer. Tall and self supporting, a good border plant for background fill-ins.
Bergenia are very tough evergreen perennials useful for ground cover in shade with hellebores, pachysandra, and epimedium. This is a compact variety with soft pink flowers and good foliage colour during winter.
A wonderful texture plant for the border, with literally hundreds of dark purple pompoms on tall stems in late summer. Not fussy, and flowers over a long period.
A dark flowered seedling I selected at Richard Bramleys "Farmyard Nursery" in Wales. An improvement on "Moerheim Beauty", with deep orange red flowers in mid to late summer.
Herbaceous variety with deep purple foliage through summer into autumn.
A cross between Geranium dalmaticum and G. macrorrhizum with good ground-covering habit and compact growth. A useful landscaping plant which looks tidy for most of the year. The flowers are white to pale pink and held well above the evergreen green foliage. Also good in pots.
