Robust Perennial with lovely golden globes on wiry stems, grow in fertile well drained soil in a sunny cool position. Popular for floral work.
Vigorous cottage garden perennial with pincushion-like white flowers. Great for cut flowers or as an interesting feature in a herbaceous border.
Pretty variety that begins soft yellow then fades as the flowers age. Prolific flowering during winter, liking drained soils and drying out a little in summer. Cut back fairly hard early summer to around 2/3 to half height to keep compact. Looks terrific in mass plantings like all the wallflowers.
Paniculata type with white flowers and pink eye, fragrant and grows well with plenty of summer water and nutrients. Not for low maintenance gardens!
