New variety from our trial beds, a lovely pink form which is an offspring from Achillea 'Love Parade', demonstates all the rubustness of other achillea varieties. Once established best not overly fertilized to maintain upright habit, as with other varieties.
Faded lilac purple, like old velvet. Subtle colour lovely in drifts with other varieties for tapestry of colours.
Strong landscaping variety with bushy growth ideal for mass planting or hedges. Blue flowers in summer and drought tolerant once established.
Rich pink form of Phlox paniculata, lovely upright tall flower stems, variety originally distributed by Frogmore Gardens. One of the more vigorous varieties but like all paniculata types, loves fertility and good soil with plenty of summer moisture!
Delicate soft pink shade of Helianthemum, equally as tough as other varieties. In the seventies these were fashionable, with dozens of named cultivars being available; sadly these wonderful plants have disappeared from mail order catalogues.

Vigourous form of white wind flower for shade or part sun, this is a variation with slightly narrower multiple layered petals. Drained fertile soils improve flowering performance.
A seedling given to us by Gordon Julian who grew it so beautifully. It has deliciously fragrant pink fringed flowers, and a spreading low groundcovering habit, making it ideal for placing between rocks, or at the front of a border.
The lowest growing of all the lambs ears, and a brilliant long lasting drought tolerant groundcover forming mats of velvety foliage maximum only 10cm tall. We use this extensively for edging borders and paths,and find it combines well with armeria, thymes, origanum rotundifolium, and dwarf bulbs.
