Our own variety which we have multiplied from division, flame orange fading into chesnut brown.
Paniculata type with white flowers and pink eye, fragrant and grows well with plenty of summer water and nutrients. Not for low maintenance gardens!
Bushy plant with tons of closely packed white single flowers. Reddish buds before the flowers emerge creates a wonderful effect in early summer.
Tall architectural grass for the herbaceous border or formal plantings with variegated white and green leaves. Semi evergreen but best cut back every few years.
Leafy plant from saxifragaceae family, useful for ground cover in dry shade where acanthus and euphorbia can take over. Good drainage and neutral to alkaline soils preferred.

A very good white form of Geranium clarkei with large flowers. Carpeting habit, prefers open soil.
Cushion-forming plant from Chile for the rockgarden or trough. Great around stones, spreads horizontally to form a tight mat.
Pale creamy yellow, some with peachy tinges. Separate from reds and purples to keep offspring pure. Note lupins are best cut to the ground after flowering, and allowed to dry off slightly during hot weather. Avoid heavy summer irrigation.
Lemon thyme, great for savoury meat dishes and marinades, also a long flowering ornamental garden plant. Larger than most ground-covering types, it forms a 30 cm mound and flowers well in summer even in dry conditions. Ideal for mass planting amongst stones with paeonies and crocus. Pink flowers.
Old fashioned cottage plant, forming cushions of grey foliage with sweetly fragrant red flowers. For the rockery or border.

Prolific winter flowering perennial, fragrant purple flowers and bushy robust growth. Wall flowers are useful border plants, much valued for their evergreen nature and winter flowering habit.
