One of the first perennials my mother gave me, a delightful old fashioned ground cover for under roses, where it will remain well behaved forever, or until overgrown by an invasive neighbour. Easily revived and transplanted however, and not to be confused with 'Claridge Druce' or other inferior Geranium oxonianum hybrids.
A tall variety with large hanging bells similar in shape to Campanula takesimana but rich purple in colour. Will often repeat flower in the autumn. Clumping plant.

I found this little treasure at Woodbank nursery several years ago. It is a very compact, low plant with impressive large clusters of purple trumpets. Non-invasive and perfect for the rock garden or trough.
A graceful low mounding grass from Japan, best in shade and good soil. Useful for foliage effect amongst other woodland plants. This is the green foliage form, deciduous in winter.
Campanula punctata type with semi double flowers, tall panicles, elegant and lovely. Spreading habit, frost and drought hardy.
