Tall perennial with deep indigo blue flowers in autumn, loosely resembling a Delphinium in form. Useful because of its tolerance to clay soils and later flowering.
A lovely old double pink auricula which we have increased from division. Best in well drained conditions in a pot or the rock garden.

Prolific and long flowering variety from Chiapas province Mexico, with glossy elliptical leaves and dozens of magenta pink flowers. A tidy attractive plant that will repeat flower if trimmed occasionally. Best in the cottage garden amongst other perennials or roses.
A striking cut flower and useful mid summer texture plant between grasses, asters, echinacea, heleniums and sedums. Easy to cultivate, most effective in multiple 25cm spaced group plantings of 3, 5, 7 and upward for maximum impact.
Evergreen Iris from Burma, China and Japan. An attractive species with fans of leaves and light blue flowers in early summer. I find the foliage effect of this plant very useful when combined with grasses, sedums and euphorbias. Interesting large seed heads.
