A popular and easily grown culinary herb that will form an excellent ground cover and cascade over a bank or wall.
One of the better varieties we have grown, with upright stems and soft pink flowers. A lasting vigourous plant with attractive evergreen grey felted foliage. Imported by Plant Hunters, few only.

I spotted this dwarf poker in the UK years ago, where I was struck by its compact form and abundant hot-orange pokers. It is winter dormant and makes a good grassy mound of leaves when not in flower.
