Ornamental perennial from South America, with attractive white trumpet flowers and a sweet scent. A spectacular infill plant in mass plantings and backgrounds, best in part shade.
A bushy plant with many branched stems topped with dark yellow black centered cone flowers. The foliage is a dark glossy green similar in appearance to heliopsis and echinaceas. Flowers from mid-summer into autumn.
An alternative to 'Walkers Low', when a slightly taller variety is required. Lilac mauve flowers through summer, nepeta will repeat flower if trimmed occasionally.
